On Friday May 8th through Sunday May 10th, we will be hosting the 2015 Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition here in Toronto. This competition is an annual event, hosted by a different university each year. This year, UofT is the host school, and we’ve been hard at work to make sure this year’s event is awesome.

We will need volunteers to make the competition happen. If you are interested, please fill out the information in the link above. You do not need to be around for the entire weekend, although the more help that we can get the better! In terms of commitment, not much commitment is needed; all you need to do is come to 1 or 2 meetings before the event itself, and then be there during the competition at given times to help. Even if you’re not sure about your availability, sign up anyways and we’ll keep you in the loop!

Volunteer tasks will include setting up and taking down booths and tables, helping register teams, and helping with food. Volunteers will be provided with swag (including a volunteer T-shirt) and free food throughout the event.

Thanks for all your help, it’s really appreciated! Cory Sulpizi
